We loved the hotel's location with a nice view over the lake and up the Borrowdale Valley. It was just a few minutes' walk to the center of town and had convenient access to local amenities. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast options were tasty and varied, and the hotel facilities, such as the guest lounge with a mini fridge and dining table, were a pleasant surprise.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, with easy access to the center of this city for walks, shops, and the town center, yet it was still quiet. The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful lake and mountains. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were top-notch. The breakfast served was delicious, with a great variety of choices. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. As first-time visitors to the area, my brother and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The rooms were clean and cute, with lovely views from every window. The dining room was also charming. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of alternatives to choose from. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay. The location was perfect, as it was close to the town center and also convenient for hikes to Cat Bells and Scafell Pike.

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with tea/coffee making facilities in our room and a cozy guest lounge with a small fridge and homemade cake. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the linen and towels provided were of great quality. The location couldn't have been better, situated just a few minutes' walk from the town center and offering stunning views of the nearby Catbells mountain. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and the staff were the best hosts we've ever encountered at a B&B, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
